UPDATED: NOV 30, 2021 12oz bottle pours a dark brown, white head. Nose has brown sugar, malt, plenty of peach juice and peach candies. Really more candy than anything. Flavor is malt and plenty of peach candy. Fruity finish. it's ok. It's a bit oversweet for New Glarus.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2021 Peach is huge hear with some lime. Reddish pour with good head. Sweet finish. Sticky consistency but not so much that's it's awesome. Just enough sour yeast to make this work as a great beer. Bottle thanks to nuplastikk.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2021 Ah, peaches. There was a young woman with that nickname back in college. Nice memories. New Glarus makes fruit-based beers that range from very good to excellent. They're always worth trying. Lots o' Peaches' aroma hits like a bushel of freshly smashed peaches and the taste is delightful tartness that reproduces that taste of peaches right down to the fuzzy, funky skin. Long and tangy sour finish.

b3shine (11340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - NOV 5, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2021 Bottle to snifter (2021 vintage). Looks good for the style; a translucent amberish brown with light caramel head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of sweet peach and a touch of funk. Mouthfeel is medium-full to full-bodied and mildly sticky with some tartness. Sweeter than I prefer, but enjoyable nonetheless.

tmoreau (7963) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2021 Shared 2021, 12 oz. bottle poured to a snifter showing a clear, burgundy, plum-like color, with a bubbly layer of off white froth, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was very peachy, with light berry, schnapps-like sweetness. Medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with continued syrupy sweetness, and moderate tartness & tanginess. Not what I'd refer to as a sour, but entertaining & tasty.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2021 Chestnut pour with a one finger creamy beige head that has great retention. Aroma of sweet peach, nuttiness, dark bread, a little caramel, tannin and biscuit. Flavor is sweet peach, floral notes, a little nuttiness, light funky tartness, sweet grass, more floral notes and pop cap candy to the finish. Light to medium body, syrupy, sticky, medium carbonation, mild acidity. Pretty good overall, not quite what I was expecting, but nice anyway.

juiceisloose (3665) - Windermere, Florida, USA - SEP 17, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2021 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown color and capped by a small off white layer of foam that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma is nice showing notes of juicy peaches, sweet stone fruit, and peach ring candy over a toasted bread malt base with a touch of caramel, old oak, and some lactic tartness. The flavor follows suit with notes of sweet, juicy peach, stone fruit, and a touch of honey to go with the caramel and breast malts and a soft oaky tartness on the back end. Perfect balance between the fruit and tartness of the base sour brown. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation that leads to a slightly sweet and tart peach, stone fruit, caramel, and old oak on the finish. This is just so good and so well executed for a fruited sour brown ale. Dan Carey is the master of fruit beers and this is another perfect example. Great stuff.
