chinchill (6213) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2016
12 ounce bottle into a lager glass. Pours slightly hazy, apricot-amber color with a dense off-white head. Good retention. Leaves soapy lacing clinging to the glass. Aroma: Herbal/floral and fruity, with hints of hay, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and orange. Good complexity. Flavor: Moderately strong and dominated by fruity hop tones. Grapefruit with hints of lemons and orange peel. A touch of caramel and faint, light bread. Moderately bitter. Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation and body. Semi-dry finish. Overall: a very nice wet hopped APA that’s more hop-forward than average.

Aroma is light pine, spices and slight sugar/syrup sweetness. The flavor is citrus, malts, caramel/very mild toffee and a spicy/slightly out of place alcoholic finish. Maybe a little past fresh, it did seem that it would’ve been too sweet to begin with, not bad as a whole though.

Earthy hop aromas, resinous, floral. Clear orange with a somewhat lasting off-white head. Pretty dry, citrusy. Light-medium bodied.

Fresh wet hop and veggie aroma with a grassy corn undertone. White foamy head and golden body. Dry crisp light hop and lemon grass flavor. Dry and crisp on the palate

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with white head, light and fluffy. Hops, floral, grassy, citrusy goodness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with mostly grassy and citrusy combination of hop notes. Nice wet hopped ale.

superspak (9600) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - NOV 20, 2015
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/12/2015. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright/dank citrus/floral/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of bright/dank citrus/floral/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice wet hopped American pale ale style. All around very good robustness, complexity, and balance of bright/dank citrus/floral/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Quick3Beers (2635) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Pours an amber from a bottle, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, somewhat grassy. Taste is somewhat reminiscent of Pine-Sol, but in only the best way possible. Good beer.

chucklemation (2764) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Pours a copper color with a thick, long-lasting white foam head with white lacing. Aroma is grass and citrus/grapefruit hops, with caramel and bread malts. Flavor is citrus and some caramel, with an unpleasant grassy aftertaste. While this doesn’t do much to stand out from other IPAs, especially of the wet-hopped variety, I don’t think it deserves its low rating. Pretty good.

PapaSkeetSkeet (1319) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - FEB 4, 2015
A wet-hop IPA with a 3.1 average? ... Heavily hazed amber with a yellow dirty sea-foam head, visible effervescence. Aroma is light, clean caramel, biscuit, orange, floral, touch of candy. Body is medium, somewhat gritty, with a hint of oiliness. moderate carbonation with a medium-medium-strong burn. Flavor is bitter (slightly astringent) strong herbs, some grass, buried dark caramel, some bitter grapefruit rind. The flavor is lacking, while the aroma is OK, in part due to malt character. Not an impressive offering, unfortunately.

Zymurgeist2 (4143) - Redwood City, California, USA - JAN 23, 2015
From bottle to glass. Rich caramel malt is overt. Minimal forest floor. Clear amber with a small white head. Taste is full malt with faint citrus. A good, malty beer.
