N’Ice CHOUFFE is a strong, brown beer that will warm you in the depths of winter. Spicy (thyme and curaçao) and tinged with hops, this is a very balanced beer. N’Ice CHOUFFE is an unfiltered beer which is refermented in the bottle and in barrels.

gripweed57 (5605) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JAN 8, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 330ml bottle. Mohagany brown pour with reddish highlights. Small creamy tan head. Earthy, sweet, dark dried fruit nose. Sweet, toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of Belgian yeast, Candi sugar, dark, dried fruits, Kirschwasser, toffee and perhaps orange peel. Hard to distinguish the individual spices. I detect a hint of allspice and clove, but not Thyme as indicated in the beer description. Alcohol becomes more noticeable as brew warms. Very enjoyable.

zacgillbanks (7949) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 330ml Bottle from Beersniffers Webshop, Saltburn by the Sea, Cleveland (2021) and 750ml Bottle from Binns, Darlington (2004). Hazy, very dark brown with a massive rocky head of white foam. It has an unusual medicinal cherry flavour with dried fruit, burnt toffee and spices on the smooth finish. Very good.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2021 Buli van aprajafalván! A cicunak máj, a cicunak háj meg hasonló örökbecsűk.

ERB92 (1821) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 10, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, malt and hints of spices and yeast. Dark brown with a tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Overall a nice, well balanced and warming Strong Dark Belgian Ale.

royalbeer (556) - NORWAY - NOV 28, 2021

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 Bonne bière brune et forte. Plus sucrée et plus épicée que la Chimay bleue.

DocuDrinks (1555) - Riga, LATVIA - NOV 7, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2021 Smell-weak, malt-ish, hard to tell. Foam-thin, Belgian yeast, weak caramel, weak sweetness. Head is medium-sized, medium-dark brown color. Goes away fast. Appearance- beer-specific bottle cap? the label is somewhat nice also. I will assume so, so rounding up to max score. Clear, dark ruby color, no carbonatiion. From- snifter Price- 2,49 euros for 330ml Taste- thin, malty, Belgian yeast, caramel, some sweetness. Generally sweet, malty and Belgian-y beer. Very drinkable. alcohol semi-well hidden also.
