AleRider78 (2690) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - APR 20, 2018
2014 rating. Pours a large foamy head and goes away fairly quick. Has a hazy coppery appearance. Very weak lace. Aromas are somewhat indistinct, very faint, just a bit of spices and earthy hops. Flavours of caramel and sweet malts, some hints of cinnamon in the finish as well as the bourbon taste making a late appearance. Alcohol is fairly strong but not overpowering. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff!

QcBeer (269) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 22, 2016
Bouteille 2014, ouverture 2016. Nez de bourbon, épices, petits fruits. En bouche, c’est complexe, chaud, un merveilleux mélange du bourbon, d’épices, de caramel, de fines herbes et de fruit rouge. Excellente

pours unclear light brown, orange tint, with a bubbly white head offering good retention and lacing. very spicy aroma - cinnamon sticks, cloves, mint, dill, herbes de provence bouquet; tobacco, brown sugar and demerara sweetness, bourbon - with its vanilla peaks, wood astringency, light brett presence, lots of red fruits - cherries; pepper. foamy carbonation, light body, semi-sweet, tannic and very spicy finish. overly spicy but not necessarily overdone.

samzim (444) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 2, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 2014 bottle. Spicy aroma with notes of allspice and coriander. Opaque amber colour with visible sentiment. Savoury front with mild bitter finish; reminiscent of pickling spices. Medium body with low carbonation. Interesting but bourbon barrel aging isn?t apparent enough; would not buy again.

sudomorph (1307) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2015
2013 bottle 8.5% abv. Drank Apr 25, 2015. Pours a clear, ruby/caramel with a thin head that thins to near nothing. Aroma has notes of oak, tart cherry, holiday spice, vanilla, and caramel. Taste is malty. Good hit of bourbon barrel, hints of spice, caramel, a touch of tart fruit, and a lingering finish. Medium-full body with a low carbonation. A touch syrupy in the mouth. Overall a nice holiday brew. Smooth bourbon barrel oak with a touch of tart fruit, spices, vanilla, dark fruits, and caramel.

Alpha10 (1528) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2015
2015/04/13 - Pours a hazy amber colour and a thin, off white head with quickly dissipates. Aroma is caramel, plums, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, dough, oak and vinous notes. Taste is caramel, plums, dark fruit, spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread) along with oak and dry vinous notes. Taste like a mix between a Christmas ale and the spices from a pumpkin ale. Mouthfeel is full with medium to low carbonation and a spiced, drying finish. Alright, but nothing exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gluepot (942) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 11, 2015
Rich reddy-brown colour with an unfiltered look.Fluffy light tan head with good lacing. The nose is significant with elements of leather, prunes and lots of different spices. This is a well crafted seasonal ale. Complexity and balance are what it is all about. Nutmeg, cinnamon, ripe berries, vanilla and sweet caramel malts work well with the alcohol warmth. Nice semi-thick consistency and medium carbonation add to the xmas ale feel of this very well made ale.
