UPDATED: SEP 24, 2021 473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium, fluffy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick, soapy lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy caramel malt, orange peel and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy caramel malt, orange peel, peach, grapefruit and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid West Coast IPA.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2021 Can from 5 Vines in Calgary before a heavy snowstorm. Pours a light golden straw color with a creamy head that lasts. Pine, grapefruit with pith, a little pepper and medium bitterness. Nice enough.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2021 473ml can. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a moderate white head. Aromas of citrus, resin, toffee. Strong grapefruit and pepper up front, floral notes, toffee, pineapple. Excellent and well-balanced IPA.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2020 Pours yellow with average white head. Medium body with average carbonation. Everything about this beer is average, hard to remember it at all. Nothing new, but not bad.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2020 Slightly hazy with a big head that disappeared quickly. The dominant flavour is bitterness.Very little hoppiness which is surprising considering this calls itself an IPA.Not very exciting but its a new brewery for me and the first Canadian for some time.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2020 Clear golden color with off-white head. Aroma has tropical fruits, pine, grapefruit. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, needles, resin.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2020 Well-present orange scents combined with notes of pineapple and grapefruit make up an interesting but low-intensity olfactory. A thick, creamy white foam covers the rather fuzzy orange golden liquid. A tropical touch with citrus accents declines quickly in intense bitterness of resin and conifer giving us a rather well balanced taste. Notes of orange, grapefruit and lemon gives us a well-diversified citrus palette. The malt is very discreet and lets us glimpse small accents of caramel. The body and effervescence are average, the balance is well focused on hops with a slight astringency. Pleasant and average good IPA. Des effluves d’orange bien présentes combinées avec des notes d’ananas et de pamplemousse composent un olfactif intéressant mais de faible intensité. Une mousse blanche bien épaisse et crémeuse recouvre le liquide doré orangé plutôt flou. Une touche tropicale aux accents d’agrumes effleure l’entrée de bouche se déclinant rapidement en intense amertume de résine et de conifère. Des notes d’orange, de pamplemousse et de citron nous donne une palette d’agrumes bien diversifiée. Le malt est bien discret et nous laisse entrevoit de petits accents de caramel. Le corps et l’effervescence sont moyens, l’équilibre bien axée sur le houblon et on y dénote une toute légère astringence. Agréable et dans la moyenne des bonnes IPA.
