UPDATED: MAY 23, 2021 Bouteille pécho dans un frigo de chez Monop', à consommer avant juillet 2022. Chuis suis large. Couleur ambrée trouble surmontée par une mousse onctueuse, généreuse et tenace. Nez très discret pour une IPA. Quelques notes de grains, puis de caramel et un peu de grillé tout en subtilité. En bouche c'est pas mal rond. On retrouve des notes de raisins secs assez prononcées, puis de grains. Carbo puissante. Amertume faiblarde. On la ressent un peu en toute fin de bouche, et apporte un peu de sécheresse. Aromatique des houblons pas foncièrement caractérisée : des notes citronnées et florales mais ça reste bien sage. En soit c'est bien fait, même agréable à boire (et c'est déjà bien), mais ça s'apparente en fait à ce que l'on appellerait vulgairement une 'ambrée', et absolument pas à une IPA telle que l'on pourrait s'attendre. En même temps avec de l'Aramis et du Mistral couplés à une base maltée aussi prononcée, il ne fallait pas s'attendre à des miracles... Mais comme dit, c'est propre et c'est agréable à boire.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2021 Thanks Fred for this big bottle that we have shared with my wife, yesterday, at home, Epalinges during a windy night. The body is yellow and copper, clear with a sparkling carbonation, white foam. A regular ipa and for me, it was a good one. This one is classical, not a new French ipa, an ipa on the American way!!!!. This one is dry, dry malt, citrus and bitter, the hop is ok, decently floral, a bit watery and refreshing.

Aroma of caramel, malt, bread, biscuit, ripe fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Bittersweet malt biscuit finish.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2021 Bottled. Clear pale amber, brief lively head. Spicy nose with citrus and bread. Dry with light to medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Spicy bread and mild citrus. Salty bitter finish.

Deep amber color with a small, off-white head. Aroma is a bit citric, hoppy, crisp. Taste is medium bitter with a delicate malty counter. Citric, somewhat yeasty profile. Medium, delicately creamy, average. Finish is medium long with a lingering bitterness. Overall, quite decent. My first craft beer since almost a year back.
