COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beer’s hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 Lear copper color, no head, malty stale hop nose, flavor is buttery caramel malt and stale hops, cascades, the malty backbone gives it a little more balance than a lot of pnw ipa’s

Not as good as some of the IPA's I've tasted but really good anyhow . I notice a little sweetness along with the hops made for a interesting flavor.

Amber pour with good sized off-white head. Citrus nose with a good bit of malt. Flavor is much the same with a touch of pine. Nice NW IPA

Can from Total Wine, Bellevue. Nice caramel-amber color with a froth of off white head that leaves heavy lace on the glass. Bright pine hop aroma, herbal and earthy notes. Solid malt backbone. Clean, soft carbonation, somewhat dry close. Pretty good.

Bottle. Orangey Amber in colour. Thick head. Good lacing. Very Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Nice fruit/hop/malt balance. Initially bitter-sweet citrus fruity piney and malty throughout. Increasingly bitter and dry into finish. Very drinkable. Nice well balanced IPA! (2014-11-30)

Bottle, picked up in Downtown Spirits, Seattle. Darkish amber colour, white head. A bit heavier on the malts than some IPAs in that part of the world, with a fairly classic pine citrus hop punch to follow. Decent. Personally I prefer this type of IPA a bit drier, but this was decent well made stuff.
