22/4/2018. Bottle from flavourly.com. Pours mid/dark brown with a very short lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, light milky chocolate, caramel, ash, light spice, moderate roasting and bread. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily and thin texture, average carbonation. Nice bottle, more impressive than the content.

Litt julepreg over denne.

Two 400ml bottles shared at tasting of Yuletide beers. Misty copper-reddish body. Decent beige head leaving spotty lacing down the glass. Modest dried fruity nose, hints of nuts and caramel. Taste of figs, raisin, nuts and anise. Mid-sweet malty ending. Medium bodied. Easy to drink and food friendly. Fits the season (At Egil Børges place, Tromø 17.11.2017).

Bottle. 5.7%. Best before 21.02.19. Pours a hazy, light brownish/dark orange, with a light tan head. No lacing. Cereals, (dark) fruit and yeast aroma, with a light metallic overtone. Light note of nuts, and a dusty overtone as it warms. Flavour is yeast and fruit, slightly tart, and with a light spicy note. Hint of milk chocolate. Mildly bitter, dark fruit finish. Yeast. A bit dry. Overall okay, if nothing special; maybe a bit generic. 09.11.17.

With this beer, Nørrebro tried to make a Christmas beer with Belgian flair. Unfortunately, it did not quite succeed, yet it has good and exciting taste notes. Milk chocolate is not a usual beer ingredient, but it managed to get the taste well in the spectrum and it actually works pretty well. Unfortunately, the rest of the taste notes that mark the Christmas (prunes, rosin and nuts) all present in a strange confused taste where none of the parts can give opposition to the sweetness of milk chocolate. The hops bitterness is far too anonymous.

It doesn´t taste bad. Just way to mild for me, when i dream of abbey dubbel
