COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As a continuation of North Coast Brewing Co.’s commitment to quality, our Old Stock Ale is crafted in the tradition of our critically acclaimed Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale and Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. It’s brewed with classic floor-malted Maris Otter Pale Malt and Fuggles Hops imported from England, so it’s a beer to be served proudly. Like a fine wine, North Coast’s Old Stock Ale is intended to be laid down. With an original gravity of over 1100 and a generous hopping rate, Old Stock Ale is well-designed to round-out and mellow with age. North Coast Brewing Co. Old Stock Ale is a vintage dated ale. We produce a small quantity each year and it remains available from release date until our stock is depleted.

Kita (3655) - Koper, SLOVENIA - NOV 28, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 Bottle, 0.355l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit and whiskey. Pours cloudy brown color with thick soapy tan-like head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is dried fruity, earthy and herbal with warm, alcoholic and mild spicy mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Full body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Old but not obsolete…

dmctaster (131) - Florida, USA - OCT 23, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2021 2017 bottle. 13.6% ABV. Brown with a quickly disapating tan head. Aroma is bourbon and dark fruits. Taste is overwhelming of the bourbon barrels for aging. Slight aftertaste is dark fruits. The bourbon overtakes any chances of an alcohol taste. I've been looking forward to finding this beer for years. High quality but bourbon sweetness is too much for me. Tastes almost like a barleywine.

Garrold (9483) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2021 Bottle. 2018. 12%. Master of Malt. Light haze on a dark copper colour. Wispy off white foam. Nose has walnut and dried fruit. Caramel. Hint of chocolate. Some wet wood and cardboard notes. Taste is pretty sweet and Sherry like, with a leafy and earthy hop bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with foamy carbonation drinks easy at the ABV. Lingering leafy bitterness to finish. Nice enough but maybe I was expecting more depth.

Fin (15185) - Attenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 17, 2021
UPDATED: APR 17, 2021 Bottle picked up from Biervana, Munich, and consumed at home Friday 16th April 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music, we had a Lamb and also Chicken Jalfrezi Curry tonight. 2015 vintage, this pours dark brown or more accurately clear mahogany in colour with an off white head. Nice aroma, complex with an earthy hoppy edge, a little hint of spice, dried warm leather, dried peel fruits, wet wood. Flavours similar i.e. dried fruit, wet woodland, rustic earthiness, caramel and toffee, leather, this is really, really good, really nice mouthfeel, no harshness at all from the significant abv, it tastes like a lovely aged Barley Wine.
