theprof (3271) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2020UPDATED: JAN 29, 2020 Aroma of tropical fruit notably passion-fruit and pineapple with some dank pine behind. Poured a decidedly murky orange pale body with whit foam top. Taste is New England style soft fruitiness with sweetness dominant before a fluctuating transition to a final pine resinous bittersweet finish. Palate is medium bodied, sticky clammmy feel with soft carbonation and a long fruit to pine finish. For me it was more NEIPA than IPA. Let's see if the Strata hop is the thing for this year.

Gurthnar (9965) - Bratislava, SLOVAKIA - JAN 18, 2020UPDATED: JAN 18, 2020 Tap at Lya. Very soft, very rounded, easy drinking. Hops centered to be sure, a full perceived body though. Malt in background, it rather seems like a full pulpy fruit juice. Lots of hops. Moderate bitterness, moderate sweetness, balances out to be an easy drinking one despite packing such a hops punch. Stone fruits, exotic, though I dont really get any passionfruit. Very good.
