COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Session Pils salutes the unfiltered Pilsners of the Czech Republic: crisp, herbal with a biscuity depth and balanced hop finish. The Czech culture is a beer culture - drinking more beer per capita than any other nation. And their beer of choice is the low gravity, unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsner, known as "workers" or "tap" beer. In the end, Czech Pilsner serves the same function as Brit Session Beer - lower ABV, great flavor, and built for multiple pints.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2020 Yellow with a strong, pungent, bitter hop aroma. Taste is like a slightly off Czech Pilsner, with that crisp hop finish .

Pale straw colored pour. White head. The aroma is bright and clean. Firm pils malt base with a soft herbal hop note on the back. Clean and crackery.

Hazed burnished golden. Fine white head shows good retention. Honeycomb, flowers, pepper, lemon, phyllo dough, honeyed cracker dough, and piecrust delicately comprise the aroma. Light note of vinegar and metal shavings. Crunchy carbonation. A tealike herbality gains additional depth as a grassy-spicy fusion emerges, enriching the very dry entry along the way. Honey-dabbed malt is cleanly expressed, though what’s lacking is the the obligatory sturdiness and textural sumptuousness. Malt is also dulled by a vinegar note which sullies the body and imparts an unwelcome flabbiness. Sulfury notes and make-up powder are buried within. An oily flower petal softness restores the elegance as a contrasting snap of yeast brings some vitality and additional personality into the fold. Finishes brawnily toasty, if simply, with herbal-floral notes sealed by the vaguest suggestion of lemon oil. This is bit of a mixed bag. It's not the cleanest, with the vinegar and apple notes, but the balance is pretty good, and the malt, while not particularly dynamic, is nice and refined. Just doesn’t have the soul or depth of the finer Bohemian examples, but it’s serviceable.

12 oz. can at The Sevens Ale House in Boston, Mass. Clear yellow pour with a white head and very good retention. Semi-crisp pils malt with a touch of citrus sweetness. Low bitterness. Good.

Golden pour with a slight haze. Slightly malty nose with some nice herbal and earthy hops. Easy to drink, a little bitter in the finish. Simple.

Can shared by Jeff, thanks. Gold color. Light bitterness and malt flavor Good malt but lacks a hop profile that a good pilsner needs. Soft, smooth palate.

Can. Pours golden with just a touch of hazy and a big foamy white head - a beaut. Nose is mildly citrus with some hay-like background malt notes - these hops seem like US hops tho, so a bit off-style. Flavor is pretty outstanding - they really capture the soft malt textures - they figured out exactly the right water ph for pilsen is my guess. Finishes with just a touch of palate clearing fruity bitterness. Very good for an American interpretation of a difficult style.
