cheap (7939) - Land of Taxes, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2016Bottle borders on dull IPA in flavor. Quite good personality, you know yer drinken beer. Darker orange color. Good strong hop bite in this one. I’ll check out route 50 on the map.
hershiser2 (7469) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - NOV 26, 2016$2.99 Bottle from Gilly’s. Pours reddish-amber with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma is somewhat sweet - reminds me slightly of a fruity bread pudding, , with hints of syrupy citrus malt and pine. Taste is strange... somewhat syrupy citrus, hose water, sweet fruit. Meh.
Braudog (8154) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 23, 2016Bottle. Rustic-looking pour, ruddy and rusty orange, with a big poofy and sedimented head of foam. This has a sweet, bready and mushy-malt character, with a little bit of Britannic wet hop twist riding the wave tops. (#6412, 11/23/2016)
frankenkitty (2013) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2016Light-hazed, honey/amber body with happy streams of carbonation under a rocky head that won’t quit. Balanced aroma with sweet pale and caramel malts paced against hops that run the spectrum of grasses, citrics, pines and florals. Flavor is perfectly "right there" as well... smack-dab in the middle of sweet and tart, sharp and mellow. Mid-bodied, smooth, almost milky consistency, perfect on a cooler day (60°-70° F). This is the second of two beers I’ve tried by OC Brew which have been, in a word, "excellent". ~~~~ 12 oz. bottle, purchased "somewhere in Baltimore" (according to my wife).
altonbrownd (5922) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - FEB 7, 2016Bottle from Cork 57. Dark caramel body with thin head. Nose is malty, sweet, nice. Taste of caramel, malts, citrus as well, bready. Quite nice.
jrodooo5 (2411) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - SEP 19, 2015Pretty unique APA! Copper pour w/ a foamy tan head that leaves messy lacing. The aroma has an odd sweetness to it w/ a malt undertone. The flavor also contains this strange sweetness & malt backbone. Not much bitterness to be found but I find it rather interesting & drinkable. Not bad!
ryanscourt (1851) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2015Amber red with aggressive hop bitterness. Slight fruitiness and malt flavor but hard to pick up.
jcos (1855) - Maryland, USA - JUL 13, 2015Location/Date:Can on July 13th, 2015.
Appearance: Pours reddish haze.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel and light pine.
Taste: Caramel, medium bitterness, light citrus.
Palate:Medium body, light lingering aftertaste.
Summary: First try of this brewery! Thanks David Brock.
guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JUN 24, 2015Rusty amber appearance with a large off white head and good lacing. Bready aroma with only a hint of floral hops. Flavor of sweet cereal malts dominate the low key hop profile. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel but the metallic aftertaste taints the finish.
radagast83 (11245) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 12, 2015Draft at the DC Beer Festival. Poured a light copper color with a small white head. Aroma was some toasty malts. Touch of light pine character. Light grassy hops, sweet pine. Chewy. More malt forward than a balanced American pale ale.
