UPDATED: MAY 5, 2019 From a 330ml can on 13//2019. Pours a super clear golden with a medium head. Has a slightly herbal, fruity aroma. Taste wise, there's some caramel and biscuit malt and lots of sweet citrus and stone fruit. It finishes with a strong, somewhat resiny, and almost chemical bitterness. The texture is a touch syrupy and the carbonation moderate. My kid brother really rated this but it's a bit too sharp and rough at the back for mine.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2018 Pretty tasty beer from Van Diemen's land. It had a solid hop bill, more fruity than earthy. Not too bitter. Full body and mouth feel, very satisfying. Hints of caramel lingering on my taste buds. Overall, very satisfying and well rounded Double IPA.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2018 Pours golden with a nice white head that dissipates slowly. Smooth malts balanced well with the citrus and sliggt dankness. Well crafted imo.

It’s a big beer for sure but it doesn’t wallop you with palate scraping hops either. It’s more nuanced. From a 330ml bottle it pours clear bright golden with a medium-sized white head that dissipates to a stable film and collar. The hoppy nose has prominent fresh juicy tangerines, pink grapefruit, peaches, apricots and mango with just a hint of dank pine resin. Taste is basically fruit salad on top of a mild pale malt backbone and a mild-moderate citrus hop bitterness. A little bit of alcohol and floral notes as well. Palate is clean and medium bodied, average carbonation, oily texture.

180317. This is a big ballsy beer from the Apple Isle and one that made its way to The Mill as part of their Tasmanian Pint of Origin event during Brewsvegas 2017. First beer from Ocho and the first time that I have seen it anywhere in Brisbane. This is a big hoppy beer that smacks you in the face from the first mouthful to the last and it keeps on smacking you in the face even after the beer has gone. A beer that is not to be drank too quickly, best to sit and savour this one. Resinous in the mouth and it leaves an oily coating on the tongue that is hard to get rid of. You need a nice palate cleansing beer after this one. Not a beer for the craft beer beginner.
