A heavy malt backbone is balanced by an outrageous hop profile. Dry hopped not once, but twice, our Double IPA exudes flavors and aromas of tropical fruits and citrus.

Bottle poured a hazy amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of caramel, fruitiness, orange zest and light pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, fruitiness and light orange zest with a smooth dry lingering fruity finish.

A nice aroma of grapefruit, with notes of malt and caramel. Pours a dark gold color, clear with a lasting white head and moderate carbonation. Taste is disappointing, the light malt and citrus character are quickly over powered by bitterness. Full bodied with an unpleasant metallic finish and a lasting bitterness. DIPA’s should have flavor and not just trash your taste buds with hops.

12oz bottle from Beer Run. Piney aromas, citrusy, earthy. Slightly hazy orange with a fairly lasting white head. Lightly sweet. Medium bodied.

Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours medium gold with a soft off-white head. Aroma of citrus peel out the wazoo, minor rotting vegetation. Flavor is tropical: fruity, floral, citrus peel. Finishes abrupt and dry as fuck.

Draft. Just a dense, heavy, sticky DIPA. Lots of malts, lots of hops. Bright citrus, toffee and pine, some pineapple.

From the tap poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Light malty hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

12 oz. bottle from nimbleprop - thanks again, Andrew! Pours a cloudy orange color with a finger of frothy white head that forms a big bubbly ring while lacing the glass. Notes of orange, sweet malts, melon, honey; has a big punch of late intense bitterness and astringency. Medium-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a malty, sweet, then bitter mouthfeel. Takes you on quite a ride, but I didn’t like the end of it that much.

12 ounce bottle. Fruity forward malty IPA with nice hop notes. Citrus. Pretty well done and a surprise.

Orange peel nose, grassy accents, lilly also present. Murky ochre, dense yellow head. Overripe orange, yeast, nougat. Full body, easy carbonation, alcohol not obvious, somewhat resinous. Really big, but balanced. Oddly, for a DIPA I thought the malt bill in this one kind of steals the show.

Pours cloudy orange with lots of foam that hangs around. The aroma is musty with citrus and floral qualities. Not a lot on the front of the tongue, but the finish is dry and somewhat dense, with some sweet malt. Not bad.
