COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after a little blue butterfly found living on wild hops along the Front Range of Colorado. Delicate hint of banana and clove-like flavor, typical of a traditional saison, that flutter with a subtle spice character derived only from the hops used.

"Another AWESOME higher abv saison from Odell. Must be sumthin in the water! Oddly, I thought this one was more hop forward than the one they claim to be, but these hops are earthy and spicy as oppsed to fruity and citrus. There are still hints of tropical fruit, as well as banana and clove. Just a delicious brew on every level."

750 massively pressurized bottle, always nice when the cork pops itself- Pours very hazy golden with a huge head, three quarters of the glass at least was foam, slowly reduces leaving a ice cream like appearance. Aroma is strong in clove, pepper, yeasty, banana. Taste is exceptionally smooth, creamy, banana and clove up front, followed by a nice spicy peppery aftertaste, subtle sweetness rounds things out. Body is medium and carbonation is very bubbly and champagne like. Wonderful beer, perfect for a summer barbecue or a fancy dinner.

One of my favorite beers. As far as saisons go, this beer nails. Pours golden yellow with a slight cloudiness to it. Incredible floral and fruit scents. The taste is crisp and smooth.

Hazy dark straw under a lasting off white head. Aroma of straw, spicy yeast esters, a touch of perhaps saaz hops, citrus zest, and light clove. Palate was medium/full bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, dusty light mango, estery yeast, and light fruittiness with a crisp dry lingering spiced finish. Somewhat complex, but it didn’t impress me as unique.
