Draft. A red-brown beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of nuts and caramel. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of nuts, but also light notes of burnt caramel, leading to a dry bitter and nutty finish.

Woah. This so-called brown ale appears cloudy pale orange of all colours. A fair 1cm cover tops it all. Mango, peach, weak fruit flavours with again those cardboardy development that I found in their stout. Pretty poor residual yeastiness leaves a fatiguing stale coating flavour. An essay at floral hops head s nowhere and fails miserably at integrating the flavours together. Quite husky in the finish. This is not serious...

Draught at the brewpub. Deep golden with a small head. Rather dry and yeasty aroma. Weird maltiness like wet bread. A bit fruity. Was this a brown ale?

Draught at Pannrummet. Pours hazy, deep brown, small but creamy beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, with nutty tones, and some spicy hops. Medium bodied, silky smooth mouthfeel. Starts off slightly sweet, but has a dry and moderately bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, malt, spices, caramel. Flavour is apple, caramel, dry, malt, hint of hop.

Draught@Pannrummet. Brown colour. Aroma is slightly fishy, with some sweet caramel/brown sugar. The aromas show through in the flavour. The palate is a bit weak and short.

On tap at the brewpub. Served clear, copper-colored, with a small, dense, beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel notes, and some fruityness. Sweet and fruity flavor, with some hops leaving notes of pine and grapefruit. Medium body and a fruitybitter finish. A quite nice and quaffable beer, but a bit weak. (060825)

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2008 (Draught at the brewpub) Pours clear red/brown. Nougat creamy head. Aroma of chocolate and sweet malt. Toffee and fudge. Watery. Some hoppy, floral freshness. Tastes like it smell with some honey tones. Small body.

Brown/redish colopur. Medium tan head. Fruity, malty, slight citric aroma. Flavour is quite hoppy & refreshing. Decent bitterness.
