Borresteijn (10025) - Heerhugowaard, NETHERLANDS - JAN 8, 2022UPDATED: JAN 10, 2022 33cl Fles, al een oudje, ik had bij een Mild Ale geen DIPA verwacht. Oranje-amber kleur, witte kraag. Kruidige rogge, wat caramel, hars, licht moutig, hoppig, bittere finish. Rogge is duidelijk aanwezig. Lekker bier, eens kijken of ik deze nog eens vers kan scoren.
Zlotta (7579) - Hagen, GERMANY - APR 18, 2021UPDATED: NOV 29, 2021 0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in November 2020. Very hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite bready, slightly floral aroma of grains, caramel, wood and a touch of citrus. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite herbal-grassy and slightly fruity taste of grains, apricot, some honey, hay and light citrus, followed by a short, rather bitter, quite herbal-grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, fairly bitter and herbal, balanced by a heavy malty body. British indeed!
DijkBier (2262) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JAN 20, 2021UPDATED: JAN 20, 2021 Very hazy/cloudy dark-amber pour, with an off-white head; decent retention. Aroma is indeed mild, even bit faint, tropical fruits, peach. Taste is moderate sweet with a quick moderate bitterness, well in balance. Nice ale, sort of imperial NEIPA, but maybe a bit too mild.
