UPDATED: NOV 2, 2020 Listed on the Menu as Left Coast Torrey Pines IPA, so maybe they took over the brand since they were brewing it anyway, and there hasn't been any rating of it for 2 years. It was a solid west coast IPA, moderate bitterness but good balance, well crafted.

March 31st, 2015 - Though the Torrey Pines IPA is maybe a little thinner than it should be, it's a solid IPA, and a timely and convenient complement to all the beer in front of me. With a rustier smell, and a sort of rusty-orange appearance, the nose offers a nice bitterness, some passion fruit and a blush of pomegranate. The flavor has a good hoppiness to it, giving a more sugary edge than Oggi's Pale Ale. It is, perhaps, a little generic, but at the same time I don't want my "pizza beer" to be doing anything fancy during my meal.

Nice and earthy... short finish. Clean color. Think of pines...................... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(En fût à Oggi’s Upland): Un sucre miellé crémeux, des houblons fort sur l’agrume et la terre, une carbonatation adéquate et une amertume persistante.

Pours medium orange with a half finger white head which fades to just a little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, grassy hops, and bready malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a decently tasty, easy drinking IPA that is a bit simplistic but went well the Pizza I had.

Draught at Oggi’s in Vista, California. Clear golden beer with a really nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, peach, citrus, grapes, caramel notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, grassy, herbal, bread notes. Not my kind of IPA.

Light lean citrus pine in aroma and flavor. Balanced on the light end, I’d suggest this more of a pale ale. So good pale ale ok IPA

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, pine, hops and some sweet malts. The taste was of bitter hops, sweet caramel malts, citrus and pine. Good stuff.
