UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 It’s bizarre that they call this beer an IPA. I get little to no hops in the aroma. It smells of toasted, grainy, somewhat caramel malt. The flavor is sweet with grainy malt and caramel. There’s virtually no bitterness, a trace of resin, and no fruit character. What even is this? It’s not flat out bad exactly, but it’s not very good and calling this a hazy IPA is nonsense.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 Standard longneck, lousy label. Foggy, tan, with a short, dense parchment head. Sturdy hop aroma with some herbacity and earthiness. Unripe fruit flavor, tart, a little astringent up front, turning herbal and fairly bitter. Medium to slightly heavy body. Kinda overbrewed tasting. Part of the Aldi Advent Calendar, 2021.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 Cloudy orange gold color pour with a white head. Fruity aroma with citrus notes of orange, grapefruit and lemon. Juicy. Nice.
