fredthecat (546) - CANADA - DEC 18, 2021UPDATED: DEC 18, 2021 ruby tinted brown near black. beige head. smell is super burnt roasted barley, licorice, toffee, caramelization, complexity. taste is minerally, malty, refreshing and highly herbal. this malt tastes god damn amazingly doughy, deep.i actually taste a lot of corn tortillas in it on multiple sips. taste is a rare 10. body is thickfor the ABV. i believe fairly high carbonation compared to what is expected in a DIS. can't believe its filtered.
this was a slightly slow burn but after half the glass, this is excellent, very exciting and fun.
i would definitely buy this again.

Pitch black with tan foam and a savory roasty aroma. Medium bodied with a dry finish. The taste is like a roaster more robust Guinness. Quite good.
