UPDATED: MAR 27, 2021 12 oz bottle picked up at Corners in West Palm Beach, FL. Murky brown pour with a minimal head. Strong aroma of fig, brown sugar, candied apple, brandy. Pretty good. The only detraction is that it is a bit thin for 10%. This is probably a bit better enjoyed at a bit warmer temp.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2021 Very cloudy brown with minimal brown head. Aroma is caramel, malt, burnt sugar. Full body. Mild alcohol presence. Sweet up front. Flavor is complex. Dried fruit, molasses, caramel, chocolate. Other than some burnt sugars not getting much from the barrel. Outstanding nonetheless.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2021 Bottle into Rochefort goblet. Mahogany with minimal tan head and low carbonation. Sweet vanilla, malty and oak aroma. Similar taste with hints of creme brûlée and caramel. Very velvety creamy mouthfeel but also quite sweet. Very nice if you like that kind of thing.

drpimento (6063) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 2, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2020 The aromas and flavors are sweet malt, raisins, Belgian beer qualities. Head disappears fast to leaving a ring. I don't pick up any brandy or bourbon characteristics.

Opaque dark amber colour. Moderate malt depth, moderate sweetness, the barrel is really evident, not surprisingly the bitterness is almost absent.
Nice, simple.
