UPDATED: NOV 7, 2021 750 ml bottle 11/6/21 (Binny's) 38° in snifter. Pours black with a small tan covering for a head which emits an aroma of bourbon, coffe, and chocolate. Taste of the same. This full bodied brew is well balanced and is a nice sipper on a cool evening. Great brew.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2021 The aroma is some anise, slight chocolate, hint of Bourbon. Pours dark copper brown with amber hues, big tan head, somewhat lasting and good lacing. The taste is a mild bitter and a slight tart at the end, The body is medium/full, the texture slight creaminess and a touch watery. The carbonatiob is lively and the finish long.

Lightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Slightly boozy in the finish, but that doesn't disrupt the chocolate/roast/oak flavors.
