Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, maple syrup, pastry, coffee and alcohol. Taste is very sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, warm, maple syrup and pastry finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

ABV: 12.5%. Murky dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, cake, chocolate, cake, maple syrup, chocolate - vanilla - bourbon - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, cake, molasses, maple, chocolate, vanilla, chocolate - vanilla - bourbon - barrel. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190509]

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2019 Himmel, diese verrückten Schweden haben’s echt wieder getan, was für eine Granate. Schon in der Nase Pancakes satt, als ob man im US Diner sein Frühstück mit Sirup tränkt. Im Trunk echt mächtig, Schoko, Nüsse, Teig, Pancakes klar, gefährlich süffig, wie machen die das?

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2020 Liquide opaque noir comme de l'huile moteur. Un nez, pas un nez mais une explosion d'odeur sublime de crêpes, de miel et de sirop d'érable !!! En bouche la même en dix fois plus puissant, une tuerie !!! Du vrai sale de chez sale, c'est énorme, une pure folie !!!

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2019 Piwo niemal czarne, piana pieniąca, szybko znikła. Aromat bardzo intensywny - wafle nugatowe, czekolada, wanilia, jakaś przyprawowość w stylu cynamonu, kardamonu. W smaku czekolada, syrop klonowy, wafelki z masą nugatową, alkohol dość wyraźny. Dla intensywnej słodyczy jest fajny balans w postaci czekolady deserowej i palonych słodów. Pełne ciało, grzejący finisz. Ciekawe i smaczne piwo.

Taste is very very sweet, maple syrup, chocolate, hints of dried fruit, quite boozy finish. Full bodied, very thick, smooth. A beautiful dessert, wouldn’t want too much of it though!
