This was a very nice imperial Stout that we had at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle Illinois in May 2021 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate, maple and brown sugar. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, coffee and maple finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2020 33cl can at home, bought at Just in Beer. Appearance: pitch black and viscous with a medium low brown head. Aroma: mocca, caramel, hopjes, vanilla, slightly nutty. Taste: high sweet- and bitterness with notes of hopjes, mocca, coffee and vanilla. Palate: rather full bodied, sticky texture and soft carbonation. Overall: once again a super tasty imperial stout. It is intensely flavoured, somewhat more of a dessert than a beer and maybe a bit artificial, but it is enjoyable. In my opinion, this one is not over the top as some other Omnipollo beers, but unfortunately it is quite similar in taste as Lorelei and a few other pastry stouts.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2020 Can at Julius Thomsens Plads. Black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel and chocolate with notes of vanilla and licorice. Roasted flavour of vanilla and burnt sugar. Roasted finish.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2020 En copa, cerveza marrón muy oscuro, totalmente túrbia y prácticamente sin espuma. Aroma potente e intenso a sirope de chocolate, toffee, coco, vainilla, frutos secos como avellana, café con leche, nata y un fondo salado. En boca, textura muy espesa y muy oleosa, de carbonatación casi inexistente y amargor suave a cacao y café. Sabor dulce a batido de chocolate, con presencia de cacao, caramelo, vainilla, avellanas, café, leche, sal y coco. Tras el trago, notas ahumadas en nariz. Sus 12% pasan totalmente desapercibidos. Una Imperial Stout brutalísima, como si fuera literalmente sirope de chocolate con aceite. Potente, dulce, suave en boca y con elevada complejidad de aromas y sabores perfectamente integrados. Soberbia.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2019 One More Beer Festival 2019, Kraków Ogrom syropu klonowego, czekoladowych ciasteczek,wanilii, kawy, lukrecji. Słodkie, ale nie wyklaja. Lekki palono-gorzki finisz.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2019 A pitch black, almost without head. Aroma has chocolate, nuts, liquorices salt liquorice, some coconut, hint of coffee and alcohol. Powerful aroma. Taste has salt liquorice, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, quite sweet. Strenght of alcohol, but it can't be taste. Liquorice icecream in the aftertaste. Full bodied, not much of stickyness. Aroma is increadible, complex and balanced, but not so balanced taste anymore. Overally, huge and great beer.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2019 Strong, syrupy, Maple and coffee tones that sit with you. Strength of the beer is prevelant throughout. 33cl is a long way to go with this !
