UPDATED: FEB 27, 2021 Black with a frothy, light brown head. Smells like a waffle house. Peanut butter cup, sawdust and nougat as well. Taste is moderate sweet with a gentle, roasted bitterness at the end. Lingering nougat. Body is medium, carbonation mild. Pretty good stuff if kept to measured doses.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2020 33cl bottle at friends. Pours a jet-black colour with no head. Aroma of hazelnuts, slight vanilla, slight hoppy, chocolate, roasted malt. Taste is full sweet, light bitter with a soft dry finish. Notes of dark chocolate, hazelnuts, coffee, yeast, roasted malt, caramel. Texture is thick, full bodied with low carbonation

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Breuvage noir profond, mousse brune, fines bulles. Odeur hyper présente de chocolat noir + vanille, noisette, puis biscuit, épices. Bouche ronde, douce, veloutée aux saveurs de chocolat bien sûr, quelques épices genre chili, un peu de café, de la vanille ... Finale longue avec un arrière-goût de noisette et présence chaude de l'alcool. Superbe.

W smaku średnia pełnia, trochę słodyczy, również sporo nut wanilii, orzechów oraz kawy, zbyt intensywnych, nieprzyjemnych, trochę czekolady, kakao, średnia goryczka lekko palona.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2019 Pitch black colored, moderate strong tan creamy head. Coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted notes, moderate sweet, loads of granola, cereal, caramel, bit of dark fruit, medium roasty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2019 W wyglądzie czarne, nalewa się z drobną, beżową pianą. W zapachu wafelki kakaowo-orzechowe, ten aromat dominuje, jest bardzo intensywny, ale zarazem przyjemny - jak to u Omnipollo. W tle nuty jakby przyprawowo-ziołowe. W smaku wafelki, orzechy, czekolada, kakao, przyprawy. Nie jest tak słodko jak zapowiada aromat, finisz palony, nawet wytrawny. Ciekawe i smaczne piwo.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2019 Appearance is oily midnight black, with a small tan head which quickly disappears. Aroma is peanut butter, caramel shortbread, chocolate cake, vanilla, dark roast malt, fudge, nutty malt, pecan, cocoa powder, more chocolate and peanut butter. Taste is chocolate fudge, coffee, roast malt, peanut butter, pecan pie, vanilla hints, malty toast, caramel, hints of spices such as cardamom, malty sweet finish.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2019 0.33l bottle. Pours jet-black with tan head. Aroma of chocolate ice cream, vanilla, coffee grounds, dark chocolate. Taste is massive, the same notes as in the aroma. Full body, soft carbonation. Fantastic.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2019 33cl bottle at home. Appearance: pitchblack with medium sized beige head. Aroma: pie dough, muesli/granola, vanilla, hazelnut, some kinder bueno, oatmeal/porridge. Taste: high sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of vanilla, coffee, poddidge, cacao nibs, bitter hops, butterscotch. Palate: full bodied, sticky yet oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: very tasty, and fortunately not over the top like some of their brews. Would drink this for breakfast
