COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Unfiltered The Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste. Bottled at 6.2% abv - can go up as high as 7.2%

Yorker (4276) - Nowhere in particular, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2022

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2021 Cloudy brown with a full off white head. Fruity smell, fermented raisins and prunes. Coca cola. Bitter, peaty, smokey taste, dried fruit, banana, some sourness, lingering bitterness. High carbonation. Not my favourite trappist beer.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2021 Hazy medium dark golden color. Lots of head which lingered for a while. Medium body with slight hop aroma. Definitely hop biased but not quite as much as Duvel. Clean dry finish and moderate high carbonation.

domination_94 (118) - SPAIN - DEC 17, 2021

alex_leit (13033) - Minsk, BELARUS - DEC 5, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2021 Bottle 33 cl. Hazy yellowish-brown. Aroma: like from a perfume shop, powerful, from many shades of malt and hops + magic yeast how these monks do it - is not clear. Taste: dry, malty, spicy, a bit wild, grassy, hoppy, very interesting.

heutsie (449) - - NOV 20, 2021
Tevens gistsmaak duidelijk aanwezig.

Graby (87) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 33cL bottle at home Hazy golden with an extremely frothy cream head. Aroma is sweet, with the familiar bouquet of Belgian blondes and triples. Notes of hops, dried apricot, flowers. Taste is extremely classic for its style. Hard to describe. Fresh and hoppy without being too bitter, nicely balanced with a bit of malty sweetness. Texture is full with stinging carbonation. 8-4-6-4-14

dragnet101 (2331) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2021 Bottle from House of Trembling Madness, online. Drank 2 months after bottling Pours a murky amber with moderate sized white head Aroma of yeasted candied peel and pineapple, caramel. Its very dry and brett like with a champagne like carbonation. Lots of candied fruits and caramel. I like it, its very different, but I don't love it. Maybe its one that's better aged.
