heavy (2948) - Split, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2017Nov. ’16. A 0.5 l can that poured, what else than yellow to golden body with medium sized head. Grain, hay, corn, honey and some herbal hops in its aroma. Flavor was lightly corny sourish, which I hate by default, but it had shown some quality herbal hops. Medium bodied with longer sourish corny, sweetish malty and strong herbal hoppy finish, ending it sharp and dry. So, it just turned out to be an okay pale lager. Unnecessary (and hard to find on the south) it may be, but well. Also, glad to see they’ve improved all of their beers since I rated them originally, including their completely revamped dark (which is now "dark 1664" BTW)
SnoperMZ (1) - Čajkovci, CROATIA - MAR 24, 2017 does not count Najbolje Hrvatsko pivo od ovih poznatijih, ima nekakvu specifično aromu, jako pitko pivo.
kovica (1045) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 8, 20170,5 l. Bottle. Golden color with white head. Malt and corn aroma. Sweet ,herbal, light bitter taste
nephirem (1750) - CROATIA - JAN 26, 2017Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with one finger soapy white head, quickly diminishing. Smell of malts, grass, hay. Slight cardboard and metal, all in all not very promising.
Medium body with regular carbonation, prickly on the tongue. Texture surprisingly not as watery as expected. Quite smooth. Malty sweet taste with some faint bitter notes later on. It’s actually quite better then what the smell would indicate. Aroma is malty and grassy. Slight caramel, a bit of corn. Minimal metallic acidity present during the finish.
Overall, not bad. Decent lager.
