Strykzone (8457) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2019 12 oz. bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Copper golden and clear. A big beige head falls slowly. An aroma of caramel, floral, and sweet fruit. Flavor is similar but not quite as sweet. An herbal hop bite sneaks in. It includes grapefruit. The caramel does bring plenty of sweet backbone. Some resinous notes and more Pilsner like malts. Not a bad Pale ale.

Pours somewhat haty darker amber, topped with medium large offwhite head, slowly swettling. Quite resinous aroma with some biscuitly maltiness, a hint of fruits. Milder sweetness upfront, milder balancing bitterness and a bit peppery finish. Slightly sweet in the finish as well. Medium body. Nicely drinkable.

12oz Flasche. Orange-braunes trübes Bei er. Viel hoher Schaum. Harziger Duft. Pinie, Grapefruit, Ananas. Auch der Geschmack hat viel Harz, Malz, Hopfen. Das Bier ist hier schon erwas unterbewertet. Eiskalt bei deutschen 34 Grad auf der Terasse nicht schlecht!
