UPDATED: DEC 1, 2021 Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a golden amber with a small white head and good lacing. Malts and orn to the fore in the aroma. Barley sugar and caramel are the initial impressions in the mouth. Malts and a slight sharpness come afterwards, and there are also traces of summere fruits. Finish is slightly dry. This is OK – a good swiggable bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2021 Pours a clear golden amber colour with a small frothy white head that settled. The aroma is leafy hops and pale malts; a similar taste with some caramel and light fruit, moderately sweet and moderately bitter.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2020 Cask at The Lower Red Lion, St. Albans on 28/01/2010. Quite a light coloured amber. Biscuity malt and some currants on the nose. Bready malt flavours. Fairly sweet.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2020 Cask at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon in Dec 2019 - Amber gold. Good foamy white head. Bready malts, caramel. Citrus fruity, orange, some grapefruit. Lightly hopped, floral. Sweet caramel malty citrus fruity. Easy drinking. OK. (2019-12)

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2019 May 2019. Anchor Inn, Tintern Abbey. Golden colour, toffee taste with a smudge if hops in the finish. Nice.

Pint at the Royal Oak, Luxborough, Somerset. Clear amber colour with a whitish head. Malty aroma, with a good taste of caramel malt and orange peel and grass hop flavours. Totally quaffable. A very nice lightish bitter with plenty of flavour. A perfect lunchtime pint.

Cask at Black Prince, New Haw. Nil aroma. Amber gold. Creamy white head. Medium bitter. Sweet undertow. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Decent enough.
