UPDATED: DEC 15, 2021 10 oz wine glass half pour draft at Outer Range Brewing in Frisco, Colorado. The pour is an opaque black brown with a tan head that leaves behind pretty lace. The aroma is bright roast chocolate malt, with great earth and mineral underneath. The taste is a nice soft roast, with dark chocolate to the finish and lingering mineral. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and crisp clean finish. Crazy drinkable Schwarzbier.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2021 Can. Head is initially small, frothy, brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cocoa, roasted grain). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/watery texture, lively carbonation. Timid and extremely simple aroma doesn't really do much to allure. Way too syrupy sweet for a Schwarz in the mouth, with very little to balance. A really flabby and clumsy rendition. Ugh.
