Sweetish, slightly malty, a little floral and minimally grassy aroma of grains, some straw and traces of honey. Gently sweet, slightly malty, moderately bitter, a bit grassy-spicy and a little floral taste of grains, some straw and light honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Helles.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2021 NRW-Bottle (correct name on the label:'Geselle auf der WALZ'): Golden, clear, small but stable white foamy layer, mild bitter-sweet grainy nose with traces of hayish hops; ...followed by a mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; shorter and quite mild - You guessed it - grainy-bitter finish with molecular traces of hayish hops. Not too bad, by Warsteiner/Paderborner standards...

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2021 0,33 l Flasche. Goldenes Bier, stabiler Schaum, schöne Gardine. Riecht frisch, schmeckt nach einem typischen Hellen.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2021 Für ein Billigbier durchaus in Ordnung. Paderborner ist auf den hellen Trend aufgesprungen und hat ein mildes, durchaus süffiges Bier auf den Markt geworfen. Etwas Vanille, leicht Butter, derb im Hopfen. Ganz ok.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2021 Durchschnittliche Schaumentwicklung mit recht grober Konsistenz. Farblich durchschnittlich gelb und klar. Riecht würzig, strohig-malzig, recht mild. Durchschnittlich rezent im Antrunk, etwas kantiges Wasser, leichte Würze, strohiges Malz, mild, kaum herb im Abgang. Insgesamt solide und trinkbar.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2021 500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, creamy,moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Minimally musty, strawy, grainy, malty aroma, hints of wet straw, a touch of malty spiciness. Taste is grainy, minimally strawy, pale malty, minimally grassy, bitter hoppy with metallic overtones and a subtle citrusy touch, very subtle, biscuity malty sweetness. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather standard Helles, nicely hopped, pretty good mouthfeel - acceptable.
