UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Corked bottle from Aldi. Gold in colour with a big white head. 'Sweet' aroma, quite restrained. Sugary sweet notes on the palate, reasonable finish. Not as bad as I'd expected. Obviously a Leffe lookalike, but it's not bad!

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 Bottle. Aroma of malt, wheat, herbs and orange. Taste has sweet malt, coriander, orange, sugar and some yeast esters. Meh.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2021 Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Golden with a head. Drinkable, with its strength hidden, but the Belgian styling and flavour in this brew are both low.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2021 [75cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell.] A bright golden amber pour with a billowing white head; fruity yeast aroma; sweet grainy taste with a herbal bitterness and a touch of honey; and a yeasty finish. A pleasant Belgian blonde.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2021 Appearance: clear gold with a massive white frothy head of excellent retention. Aroma: apricot, dried apples and pears, spicy yeast, malt. Taste: light to medium sweet, solid malt, decent esters, hop. Light plus ending bitterness. Good balance. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Summary: a well made Belgian blond.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2021 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn, Geldermalsen. Clear golden with a white head. Malty grainy fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet taste with a low-bitter aroma. Bit harsh and metallic off-taste. Standard industrial blonde.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2021 Bottle, from Aldi. Yellow gold, fluffy and sustained white head and moderate condition. Sweet and spicy nose with some yeasty esters and hints of banana, corriander and cloves. A little dry in the mouth with gentle fruity banana sweetness and some bitter yeast notes. Sweet and honeyed in the finish with some lingering fruitiness and a final spicy dry bitterness.
