UPDATED: JAN 23, 2020 Bottle. Very malty beer with nuts and chocolate throughout, intense yet crisp in its own way. Excellent.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2019 Tap (Partizan Taphouse, Bermondsey) (6:4:5:2:11=2.8) Slightly saisony aroma, seems like saison pervades every beer here, brett on the loose? Slightly poopy plum juice taste. Watery palate, fizzy. Bitter finish. Some plum skins in the finish.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2019 Jasny mild z ładnym lacingiem. Zapach słaby, wyczuwalny delikatny cytrus, jakby witamina C. W smaku mało się dzieje, goryczka średnioniska. Tekstura dość wodnista. Przeciętne piwo, do picia bez refleksji. Wersje dark mild z tego browaru są zdecydowanie lepsze.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2019 X+ale 1885. Modern mild apparently smells lightly of toffee malt and citrus hops. Pours hazy golden with thin lace Halo. Taste is medium sweet to lightly bitter. Palate is medium at most, oily texture soft to average carbonation and a light fruity finish. I don't think these hops are mild suited.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2019 Bit too malty and sweet, not bad, just not what you’d expect from Partizan, their other beers are more modern.

Keg (Partizan Brewing Tap, London). Clear dark brown color. Medium size, tan head, stays. Plums, dark fruits, caramel and sweetish in aroma. Dark fruits, sweetish, spicy hops in taste. Lightly smoked plums in aftertaste. Pleasant mouthfeel. Solid brew.

Dark brown color, roasted notes, herbal hops, angelica, drinkable and enjoyable, but still only for a mild ale.

Cardboard, dark malts, rye bread, dark, sweet, grain malts. Hazy brown, massive, frothy, beige head. Medium sweet. X Large tan head, lots of stamina but little lacing. black in color. Nose of roast and over cooked coffee, tangy, co2. Body is medium and a bit effervescent though it does settle as it warms. Bittersweet chocolate flavors, cocoa and a hint of vanilla and roasted coffee. Dry finish, chocolatey, coffee bitter with cocoa. This beer turned around as it warmed. Fairly yummy stuff.
