UPDATED: JAN 10, 2022 Backlog February 2017. Fine, clear amber body under a small, dense tan head. Aroma has caramel, toast and roasted malt. Nice, smooth malty taste, moderate roasted, caramel, toast and moderate bitterness. Medium body and same aftertaste. A decent, moderate alcoholic brown ale.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2020 16 oz can. Pours a dark cloudy brown with a big fluffy tan head with lacing. Brown bread and malty roast smells. Very nutty roasty chalky flavors. Not much sweet and a dry mouthfeel. Above average carbonation. A very nice brown.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Keg at Great Lost Bear, Portland, ME on 22/03/2008. Actually rather liked this. Nothing standout, but a solid little pale.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2019 Great nuttiness, hazelnuts galore. It certainly delivers on the promise. Good bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2019 It's about that time of the year to be getting back into browns.....just not this one. On the thinner side and could use more flavor. Still, a decent semi-smooth change of pace beer. First sample from Peak Organic. Pretty much average all around.

Average brown with a sweet finish. Not sure the organic makes it taste any better. Caramel notes.

330ml bottle provided by djoeye. Deep nut brown body, low beige head, dotted spots on the glassware. Moderate brown malty nose, dry. Taste of nuts, caramel and earth. Mid-dry malt-driven endnotes. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Backlog, Tromsø 02.08.2017).

Pours a root beer color with a thin white head which is gone in an instant......aroma is caramel, tea......taste is touch of caramel, burnt taste, nut shell and a bit thin with a bitter aftertaste.

KØLF 240217. Brown color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop. Flavor is caramel, malt, hop, bread, nuts. Medium body. OK beer.
