rdenney18 (109) - Lawton, Iowa, USA - JUL 19, 201412 oz bottle. Standard ipa. Has pretty strong hops and is fairly bitter. Probably not something I would buy a six pack of.

alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - FEB 6, 2014Bottle; initial pour was almost all head. Just a huge head. Color when it emerged was a dullish gold color. Aroma was earthy, fruity, a bit of spice. Flavor was a bit messy; hoppy yes, but not great flavor. A good dose of earthiness with some spice.
jsmerig (2028) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2013 Pours a deep reddish orang with a light tan head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Taste has a lean towards a nutty bitterness balanced by grainy bready malt. Finished very dry with a lingering bitterness. Surprisingly good.

cheap (7939) - Land of Taxes, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2013UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 Out of a bottle, this made a big giant 6-7 inch head, good thing I poured it into my bomber mug. Head turned rocky. Smell is dull IPA, almost like lager laced with IPA hops. Smell reminds me of the straub IPL. Big dull rude IPA flavors fer sure on the onslaught. Yes, big and rude, terribly on style. not sure what you ratebeerians find so pleasing about this style. Wew. If you like IPA forget my numbers and give it a try. Not as mouth coating or viscous as other IPA I’ve downed. Big long rude nasty bitter finish, lasts forever, give me a clean lager to rinse with.
tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2013Several bottles at Foxburg Country Club. Pours a hazy gold. Nose of gras, pineapple, citrus, caramel. Medium body, bitter, metallic.
FROTHINGSLOSH (11821) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2013Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a huge foam orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tart citrus and sweettart candies. The flavor was tart, dryish and chalky with notes of sweettart candies and citric acid. Long finish and medium body. Tasted like a belgian pale ale - which in my view is terrible.
Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 10, 2013From bottle at Nap’s. Skunky hop aroma. Sulfury, vegetal, eggy, and a bit of noble hops. Medium amber clear with foamy white lacing head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Starts dry with lots of hop bitterness. Mild malt sweetness with some vegetal notes. Big bitter dry finish with lasting harsh bitter in the after.
Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2013This one poured a bright golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of light grassy and floral hops and not much else. Flavor was somewhat sweet with older grassy and earthy hops. Meh.
RobertDale (10041) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - DEC 20, 201212 ounce bottle. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and florals. Taste is similar with just a bit of malt. A bit one-sided. OK.
ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - OCT 27, 2012This is a pretty yellow-colored brew for an IPA. It’s clear, very filtered, with a golden yellow color and a billowy bright white head, strong and spotty lacing, and lively carbonation. Not what you’d expect to see from an IPA, it looks more like a pilsner.
Actually, it smells just like a pilsner, with a distinctive lager whaff and pilsner malts. It is very well hopped inthe nose, with a boldly sweet, almost fruity and herbal hop character.
Once it’s in the mouth it has a pretty uncomfortably bitter bite up front. It’s very thin for an IPA, and the malts are far from supporting the heavy hops in this. Unfortunately, the Zeus hops really aren’t that enjoyable and are just a little too aggressive for the mouth. It’s just too bitter on the tongue and there’s no body behind it to compliment it. The bitterness dominates the flavor and finish and leaves little room to detect or experience really anything else about the beer.
