COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
No Problems is our latest addition to the Perrin Brewing can family. Available all year round, this Session IPA comes in at 4.5% ABV and 45 IBUs. Our Session IPA bursts open with aromatics of fresh citrus fruits, ripened melon and a distinctive floral bouquet. Weaved carefully under the hop bitterness lies a light, semi-sweet malt body, that finishes in a crisp N’ clean fashion.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2021 12 ounce can from Bella's Sault St. Marie, 8/10/21. Another out of date one. Got a case of singles and not one fresh one yet. This one has no date or date code, but defintiely out of date. Wont hold it against the beer. Bit of a gusher. Hazy amber, very large white head, good retention. Aroma of stale citrus hops and a chemical note. Taste is citrus, mango, pale malt, caramel. Stale for sure. But I see some trouble signs that aren't a sign of age. Okay.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2018 Draft. Poured clear amber color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus fruit and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Nice light IPA. Good summer or mid day beer. All 3 from the Perrin variety pack were good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DOC: ?

2015 BJCP Category: 21B Specialty IPA (Session IPA)

AROMA: Fairly prominent American hops with notes of spice rack seasonings, some pine and minor citrus pith. No malt definition, but presence is not absence. 8/12

APPEARANCE: Amber/pale orange hue. Slightly hazy but no sediment. Moderate white foam retains and laces well. 3/3

FLAVOR: Hops are present throughout with fruity flavor throughout the first half (mostly orange; some melon). A moderate bitter bite at the apex followed by herbal/spicy taste on the entire back end. Leave a bit of citrus peel aftertaste and minor, tolerable astringency. Malt base is simple enough to offer balance, but no sweetness nor distinctive flavors. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body with medium-low carbonation. More smooth than crisp. Refreshing while in the mouth, but hops do linger somewhat. Plenty of flavor for a 4.5% ABV session brew, though it is rather filling. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Definitely has what you expect and want in a session IPA. Not amazing, but nothing to dislike either. 7/10

TOTAL SCORE: 37/50
