VertBaconStrips (2445) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - OCT 23, 2017Gonna rate from a small sample instead of the entire bottle so i can enjoy it that much more. I've had this fresher - everything I bought form that Sobeys store was aged out. Poured out a superior head. Toasty, caramel, dry chocolate, dark berries, marshmallow nose. Mellow bitterness, chocolate and toasted malts, I just noticed that my F5 and F6 button shave no symbols on them. Exciting.
MartinT (10698) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 25, 2017My Bottom Line:
Pumpernickel bread, raisins and roast develop a great nose, as toasted crumbs and their softspoken bitterness endear the palate.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A healthy head of foam covers the hazy dark brown.
-Mouthfeel is quite effervescent.
-Drinkability is high.
-Love me these characterful lagers.
Bottle. Thx Josh and Sunshine!

Ferris (23109) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 22, 2016Bottle - Dark toasty notes. Jet black with a rich beige head. Dark toast and a nice bitterness with a light mouthfeel. Exactly what it should be.
DuffMan (10981) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 5, 2016Bottle. Dark walnut brown, light beige head. Hard roast, dark caramel, lighter body without seeming watery, finishes with a roasty bitterness. Decent Schwarz.
DeanF (9135) - New Westminster, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 26, 2016Sunny spring saturday afternoon, time for a beer! This one’s got good head with decent staying power, carbonated black body with a bit of effervescence.... or something. Aroma of molasses, caramel, chocolate cake. Flavour is a dry sweetened coffee bean, refined and defined. Very nice in fact, good balance and all that.
AgentAle (2819) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 6, 2016Aroma is fig, light caramel, and dark roasted malts. Appearance is black with a thin beige head that retains fairly well.
