Carame, chocolate, hazelnut taste, ending with some raisins and a dry, tanninoid finish, too dry for my tastes. Good enough, not as thrilled as I hoped I would be.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2021 Bottle, 10.4% ABV. Black. Caramel, hazelnut, roast, vanilla and chocolate in the aroma and flavor. Coffee. Sweet and surprisingly thin. Hardly any carbon.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 Bottle, 0.33l. Deep brown, almost black pour. One finger frothy beige head, medium lasting. Nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Sweet on the nose, fruity notes. Cherries. Hints of cocoa and coffee. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, chewy, creamy, oily... Very nice. Sweet taste with slight roasty bitterness to balance it out. Malty aroma, caramel, molasses. Sugary. Cherries, vanilla, cocoa, latte. Syrup. Lingering roasty bitterness. Sticky, warming alcohol. Long lasting finish, dry, lingering alcohol burn. Tasty.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2021 33 cl. bottle at home. Bought at Fish-n-Beer. 10.6% alc. Low but lasting creamy light brown head. Black body. Sweet and smooth creamy roasted malt coffee choccolate aroma and flavor with a nice hops bitterness and hints of liquorice. Low carbonation, long sweet finish.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2021 Satanic dark beer with a low, brown head. Woooah! The aroma! Chocolate, coffee, cookies, creaminess, vanilla, cocoa, roast hints, burnt bread, probably plum. Some alcohol. Also some dusty cardboard hint in the front. High sweetness. Very warm on the throat. Oily, tar-thick. Medium carbonation.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2021 late december '18 bottling. pours unclear dark brown with a very nice creamy medium dark beige head offering good retention and lacing. estranged and rather strong peanut/hazelnut aroma/flavors, roasted smoky maltiness, enough black resin to cover its light molasses sweetness. moderately low carbonation, medium body - very thick in fact; semi-sweet and bitter enough smoky-nutty finish. in a pre-pastry stout era thankfully - very kewl real nutty impression as well.
