higgsbison (350) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2018I was quite looking forward to trying this as quads and sours are my favorite two styles. I found it to fall far short of the best of either style. however I did find it interesting and did enjoy it. Pours a very dark, reddish brown with a fine foam tan head. The quad characteristics hit you first with a sour finish. At slightly over 10% the alcohol is very well hidden. Not one I will keep on hand but definitely worth giving a try.

Jerre (5574) - Deerlijk, BELGIUM - AUG 17, 2018Geproefd op 11 november 2017 tijdens Just Beer.
dnstone (5952) - Saarland, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2018Pours a dark brown, almost black with tan head. Funky and sugary-sweet aroma. A nice quad with some oxidized off notes, like it's been aging too long.
Notes: bottle pour at Atomic Liquors, older note
Ferris (23109) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 6, 2018Bottle - Dark Raisin, some banana and some sweet dark plum. Deep brown with a decent beige head. Dark raisin, every so light sourness and cake notes.
Quick3Beers (2635) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 15, 2017Pours a deep dark brown from a bottle, thick tan head, like nitro foam, extremely small bubbles. However, they dissipate so the aroma is nice and present: a nice mix of light chocolate malts, chocolate proper, and tart fruit, maybe acidic cherry. Flavor is similar, although no chocolate, just rich chocolate malts, tart, nice flavor, no one component taking over. Very well-balanced. As others have mentioned, it hides its booziness well, no burning, drinks more like a 5%. Very good beer.
ReidBix (5) - - JUL 4, 2017 does not count It's such an interesting mix. It's a quadrupel sour that is also nitro. Like it's thick and heavy, with a bit of a sour backend, while still being very alcoholic

jb (4388) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 22, 2017Alcohol super well hidden. For this style, I think the souring detracts a bit, made it seem a bit off. Also seemed a bit thin. Some dark fruit, very drinkable, medium mouthfeel. A bit woody in the back. Okay.
IrishBoy (4503) - Bakersfield, California, USA - APR 14, 2017750 ml bottle from Tavour. Nose is big vanilla and candi sugar along with a hint of prunes. Lightly hazy dark brown with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with a hint of funky tartness and dark friut.
slowrunner77 (19086) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAR 19, 2017Dark almost like a stout.
Big fruity boozy sweet and tart aroma and flavor. Not a fan of high octane sours. This is ok but a little too much going on for me.
