thegreenrooster (6180) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 19, 2016Pour is a dark black with a small tan head. Aroma is a really nice mix of piney hops and a roasted malt. I could smell the beer as I was pouring it out of the can. Flavor is again decently hoppy and roasted malt. Not as strong as the aroma let on but both are there fighting it out on your palate. Black IPA’S are not really my thing but this had an equally nice hop to roasted malt ratio that was quite flavorful.
