COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The title of ’Goat Collector’ is not simply given, it is earned. Those brave enough to corral goats are celebrated and hoisted up onto the immortal pedestal of legends. We suggest pairing this perfectly balanced , malt-driven doppelbock with a warm day and and an Adirondack chair. Think we’re crazy? We just might be... but until you’ve had a nice, warm doppelbock in the sun... you haven’t had one.

Dark chestnut color, with a ring of small bubbles around the glass. Heavy malt and dark fruit scents. Rich, thick and malty. A bit muddled, in that it’s not a crisp bock. A heavy dessert brew.

wlajwl (10859) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Aroma is malts, fruit and big earthiness. The flavor is caramel malts, fruit/berries, tart/sweet in the middle and a warming alcoholic finish.

bomber from craftbeertemple. clear but dark strong tea color, fizzy head, intensely malty sweet nose, sweet, mellow, on the barley wine/quad spectrum, malty, drinkable. wished i had it paired with a warm day and an Adirondack chair.

HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Deep brown pour. Tan head that hangs out forever. Aroma of nutty malts and caramel. Flavor is mildly sweet with a bitterness streak. Full bodied, creamy carbonation. Yeah, Pipeworks nails the doppelbock with this one. Finishes sweet. Overall, awesome.

crossovert (17015) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 25, 2016
650ml bottle. This is too sweet and too boozy for a doppelbock, more like a triple bock, but it is okay, sweet, fruity, hoppy, and caramally, but not on top of the doppelbock spectrum.

3.8
ryecatcher (1632) - Beverly, Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 20, 2016
Bomber. Deep chestnut brown pour, fat creamy beige head with excellent retention. Nose is dried fruit, toasty pumpernickel, nutty malts, some dried grass and caramel. Mouth is medium bodied, creamy, medium sweet, touch of bitterness to balance things out, lots of chewy dark bread, nuts, raisins, dates, caramel, finishes a tad warm (to be expected given the ABV). Really tasty doppel. Another P-Dubz masterpiece. Prost!
