Brrrrr..... THE CRYO HAS STRUCK AGAIN! This cold-hearted foe is not only the enemy of the Unicorn, but also The Lizard King! The cool and collected Cryo and his army of cold-to-the-bone soliders have raised their icicle swords against the legendary Lizard King. Will the Lizard King win this battle or will he be iced out from a win? We took our Lizard King recipe, but brewed this batch with Cryo Mosaic hops instead of Mosaic hops. Cryo hops are hops that have been cryogenically frozen immediately after harvest in a nitrogen-rich environment. This process preserves the hop oils and aromatics resulting in a pure and true-to-hop expression of the hop oils.

thegreenrooster (6180) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 A slight hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is fruity red berry hop. Flavor is more red berry with some orange peel and slight green onion. Pretty decent hoppy pale ale. Why can't this brewer put dates on their cans?

tmoreau (7963) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2021 On tap at The Beer Cellar-Glen Ellyn, IL. as a 9 oz. serving dispensed to a house snifter showing a clear, golden hue, with a fluffy layer of white froth, and foamy spots & patches of lacing. The nose was dank & piney, with citrus, pit fruit, a modest interjection of tropical and melon notes, mild herb & greenery, and a nice malt backing. A bit less than medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was as the aroma notes, adding complementary citrus & resin bitterness.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2021 Pint can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a big white head and lacing. Big pineapple scents. Mildly juicy, hop forward pineapple tart flavors with a fizzy astringent mouthfeel and above average carbonation. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2021 16oz can from Discount in Waukesha with a can date of 3 months ago. Fairly pale hazy pour. Aroma has sweet & tropical fruits, light pine, and crackery malts. Taste has sweet & tropical fruits, berries, mango, pineapple, crackery malts, pine, and lemon. Not deep or thick, the flavor meld is solid/good. Finishes tangy sweetly fruity. Interesting how the berry seems to poke through more with the cryo. 13.9

Cybercat (10436) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 2, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2021 Pours clear solar yellow with a thick and rather fine-bubbled parchment head. Aroma has sharp, resiny hops plus fresh malt and zesty citrus and tropical notes. Flavor delivers tart grapefruit, piney hops, tangy cantaloupe and fresh malt. Texture provides decent body and lively fizz. Put the lizard in your gizzard.
