alexsdad06 (16451) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2020UPDATED: MAY 2, 2020 750 ml bottle from an old trade I discovered while rearranging / cleaning my cellar. I had no expectations for this since it is now over 10 years old. Pours a clear dark golden/amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale and sweet malts, honey, light spices, some oxidation, stone fruit, mold herbal tea, very little in the way of farmhouse funk at this point, overall still drinkable and better than I expected it would be.

Doodler (333) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 28, 2012Bomber from a trade. Had at my Saison tasting (from notes). Pours a cloudy orange with a modest head and lots of floaties. Nose was spicy with some citrus sweetness. Taste was still lively for it’s age, with orange peel and an earthy minerality on the tongue. Finished nicely with a fruity, dry aftertaste and lingering yeast flavors. Glad I got to try this one...

cubs (10772) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 27, 2012Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! Hazy, golden orange appearance with a nice off-white head. Somewhat oxidized, paper, orange citrusy aroma. Bready, orange citrusy, moderately bready citrusy flavor. Past prime but ok.
wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 3, 2011I’m told this bottle is an older one. Orange with a large amount of intense spices, and light to moderate fruity esters. sweet sugary malts in the nose along with some touches of oxidation. Flavor is oxidized and extremely spice with a semi fruity crisp finish. Finish is dry and mouthfeel is spritzy. Not too bad but would be good fresh. Thanks Jcr!
