rand (2880) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 5, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 Muddy orangy with a medium pale ochre head. Fruity aromas, coconut-orange-peach, spicy and phenolic, with malt and caramel. Taste is fresh, silky and fruity, kveik yeast therefor spicy orange-nutmeg-clove. In addition there are notes of chewing gum, lemon, peach and tropical fruits, with unmissable phenol. Nice try.

Idiosynkrasie (13823) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2021 330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally sweaty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of coconut, mandarine, orange, some pineapple and apricot, a yeasty spicy touch of sweet mustard, fig. Taste is sweet and dry, fruity and (coco-)nutty hoppy, notes of coconut, hints of pineapple, fig. Oil to viscous texture, dry palate at the 'surface', a clumsy, soppy sack overlays the tongue, fine, minimally prickly carbonation. Sorachi dominated, minimally unbalanced, not overly impressive considering its strength - OK.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2021 Bottled 330ml (ArtisanAle)
Bottle doesn't say anything about where it has been brewed. Maybe Post Scriptum? Hazy dark amber colour, small off-white head. Light fruity, Kveik mild funky aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavour is not much of IPA - very fruity, lowish bitterness, light tartness, sweetish, even some banana. Feels more like some Belgian ale than IPA.
