COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cut Loose is a traditional pilsner pepped up with a touch of the Motueka hop from New Zealand. The result is a dry, satisfying lager with invigorating citric fruitiness, made for carefree capers.

Theydon_Bois (33079) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2021 Keg at the Lyme Regis taproom, 12/09/21. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is pale malts, cereals, grains, hint of lemon zest. Taste comprises pale malts, light herb, breads, grains, grass, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough lager.

Cheeseboard (2971) - Somerset, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2020 330ml can from Darts Farm, Topsham. Pours clear orange golden with a decent white topping. Aroma: malt, grain, grassy. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, clean, dry, malt, grains, grassy hop. Light to medium body with fluffy carbonation

jjsint (6133) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2020 Bottle from ASDA, drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold, clear as a bell with a decorative ring of white head. It's low on aroma - there are some resinous note and a touch of lemon. Sweet taste, but not overly so. There is a touch of bitterness near the end with a drying finish. Very basic, but not a bad pilsener despite the low rates.

danlo (8048) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2020 330ml can from Powderkeg. Gluten Free. Yellow gold colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, grassy. Taste is malty, some grain, cardboardy notes, with grassy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. OK

johndoughty (7231) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2020 Unusual clear orange appearance. Virtually no head and a slightly spicy flavour.. this gluten-free and thankfully lacks the cardboard-like flavour that beers of that type sometimes have. Reasonable middle of the road flavours. Nothing very exciting but still quite pleasant.

saxo (25571) - Over Hornbæk, Randers, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2020

Grumbo (14439) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2020 15/1/2020. Bottle from Topsham Wines, Topsham. pours clear golden with minimal head, quite a lifeless pour. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, fruit, boiled sweets and slight boiled veg. Quite heavy caramel sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Quite disappointing.

imdownthepub (22082) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2019 Bottled, 330ml from Asda in Milton Keynes, Bucks. Gold with white head. There are sweet, caramelised, toffee'd malts to this. It ain't no Pilsener, it's more a Golden Ale. Light, some hop but very low level and indistinct. Not much to it really.

2.4
DruncanVeasey (10318) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2019 'Happy Pils'. Surprised they slipped that onto the Asda shelves. Unfiltered orange amber with a fine lacy collar. Poor attempt with stale Marmite yeast dominating traces of toast and vaguely orange-accented hop. Warm OJ, dead old yeast, peach splashes, spruce and brass handle aroma. Feels like very old, long expired low ABV beer not brewed to age that remains drinkable 5 years later. A waste of Motueka. 53439
