DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2021 Copenhagen 15/3 2021. 33 cl bottle from Brugshoppen web-shop. Dark label with Prearis logo with rearing horses and a gold medal from the Barcelona Beer Challenge Gold medal. Pours opaque, dark brown with a big off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick, frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, almost sugary, malty odor laced with alcohol. Brown sugar, chocolate, raisins, vanilla with hints of marzipan. Dark alcohol peeking in underneath the sweet stuff. Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet with a subtle boozy edge. Lingers for a while. Very pleasant Quadrupel which manages to hide its prominent ABV under a intense sweet flavor.

Piepenhenrich (2821) - Steinbach, GERMANY - DEC 6, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2020 Opaque dark brown with a thin beige head that dilapidates quickly. Sweet malty taste, dark chocolate, very mild given its strength. Exzellent.

tgrtnr (2060) - Germering b München, GERMANY - NOV 22, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2020 330 ml bottle aged for at least 2 years. Murky dark brown, stable foamy head. Pecan nuts, marzipan, nougat, caramel, grapefruit peel, bitter almond. Dry bitterness, some sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Well balanced, rather complex and surprisingly drinkable for 10 abv!

3.3
dorain (1930) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 13, 2020

Alkohol lekko wyczuwalny. Przyjemny quadrupel, klasyka gatunku.

3.5
CiderTicks22 (1945) - Glogów, POLAND - OCT 10, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2020 Miedziane, kasztanowe. Mętne. Piana w odcieniu żółtym. Spora ilość z drobnych oczek. Stabilna. Zdobi szkło. Aromat lekko kwaśny, owocowy. Mocno nagazowane. Aż puszyste. Treściwe. Chlebowość i suszone owoce. Daktyle, rodzynki. Ale i śliwki, głóg. Całkiem spora, na finiszu goryczka. Owocowa, pestkowa. Całkiem niezłe.

3.4
tandembrauer (2500) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2020 Shared bottle at home. Pours hazy copper with beige head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, notes of chocolate. Tastes quite bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth, bitter finish.
