UPDATED: JUL 24, 2021 Aroma had grassy hops, subtle lemon, faint diacetyl and biscuit. Over the palate came grassy hops, pale malt, diacetyl and quince.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 50cl bottle from the brewpub. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of moderate fresh citrusy hops, pale malt. taste of pale malt, hints of citrusy hops, mild bitterness, easy to drink!

Draught @ Prechtel. Pours Hazy Golden with a White head. Extremely dirty. Rotten and wet cellar with loads of butter on top. Sitting in the tap for too long Also I suspect.

Trübes gelb, im Geruch süsslich malzig etwas Hopfen, im Geschmack recht süß malzig eine Spur Honig etwas Hopfen, recht süffig mir eine Spur zu süß

50cl unusual Glasstange at source, Frankenkellertour 2018 - Uehlfelder Storchenstopp. - I suspect this brewery has overhauled its range or upped its brewing game, as I cannot identify any of the flaws quoted below and in fact found this Hopfenstoff highly original and sessionable, just like a few of its Zwangzger neighbours... Aroma: a true Hopfenblume or sweet lemon, rose? & apple blossom, sweet blossom. Manages to be clean, sweetish yet clean without clinging, an odd Helles serving thicker IPL hop oils that want to stick to the tongue. Almost too lieblich/fruity to go with the regional classic Schweinebraten&Kloß....

Vom Fass im Brauhaus. Goldgelb, weisser Schaum. Getreide und Gras Duft. Antrunk süffig und wässerig. Getreide und Hopfen.

On tap the brewpub, Uehlfeld, 8/8/2015. Clear gold with a frothy, white, head. Easy drinking, sweetish, beer, with some cereal mlats, touch of caramel and a decent, bitter finish. A decent drink on a blazing hot day.

Getrunken in der Brauerei. Sehr schlechte Schaumhaltbarkeit. Helle sonnengelbe Farbe. Malzig süßlicher Antrunk. In der Mitte recht flach. Im Abgang metallisch. Keine merklichen Hopfenaromen.

Draft at the brewery in Uehlfeld. Clear and still with a fine white head. Aroma and flavor show both diacetyl and DMS, the latter being more dominant, the impression is like buttered corn and cauliflower. There’s some acetone dirtiness in the nose and fiery acids on the tongue. Horribly dirty beer that the locals put down with ease.
