UPDATED: SEP 20, 2021 On tap at the brewery with commonshawn. Pint glass. Nitro pour. Coffee appearance with assertive tan head. Aroma is roasty and has a slight cola element which is strange. Taste continues the roasted malt notes with good bitterness...hard to find any sweetness. Definitely reminiscent of the Guinness but not quite at the same level for mouthfeel. Overall I would order again.
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2020 Tap at brewery. Nitro. Black with thick creamy tan head. Big roast nose. Taste is also rich, roasted, classic porter. True to style.
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 Taproom, nitro. Black color with a thick head. Light roasted barley aroma. Light cold-pressed coffee flavor. Roasty malt, slightly ashy. Dry. Full bodied.
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2018 Tap. Opaque black, small creamy tan head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, malt, ash, tobacco. Finland is light sweet, light bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Schultz for style
