kdm1984 (1022) - Springfield, Missouri, USA - DEC 6, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2019 Enormous citrus aroma with a lot of pine as well. Taste is huge juicy citrus; lots of grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit. Low bitterness and no resinous qualities due to it being a hazy, which I didn't realize it was when I picked up a bottle as part of a mix-sixer (I got it for the dry hopping). Very one-note, but very good at what it does. It went very well with my garden island and the tang of Thousand Island dressing.

superspak (9600) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - NOV 4, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 9/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel for the style. Awesome Citra/Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2019 Can. It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of hops, citrus and florals. The taste was similar to the aroma with more hops, citrus, florals, pine, tropical fruits with medium carbonation and a nice bitter sweet aftertaste. Good stuff.
