I have had some decent stuff from Pyramid before, so I figured I'd give this a shot for 3.25 for a bomber. Wasn't expecting anything great, but I was expecting a decent brew. I took my first sip no expecting to be over or underwhelmed and I was actually barely paying attention. My attention was demanded by the strange sweet corn and honey flavor up front. As I got used to it the flavors became more palatable, but this is not a beer I would ever seek out again.

Cobriza, té, en el color. Escasa espuma, escasa retención. Aroma lupulado, notas de vainilla, algo empalagoso. En boca fuerte amargor, intenso, pomelo, notas cítricas... y a la vez notas dulzona. Bastante dura.

Incredible taste!! Nice malt balances out the hoppiness. Good alcohol content. Nice creamy head on pour. Notice to rest of America:: you can’t touch Oregon/ Washington IPA’s. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

24oz draft in to a plastic glass at Safeco Field in Seattle. Dark brown-orange, nice off white foam. Chocolate malt and amber, caramel base. Some alcohol flavor and richness. This is a tasty, classic, basic and pleasing IPA.

Pours hazy medium golden with a nice white head broken up by a few large bubbles. Nothing remarkable about the aroma. It actually smells a bit lagery. This beer drinks like a pale ale but has a bit of a hop kick at the back end. The hop kick is bitter without being too bighting. Not a great IPA but a very drinkable beer.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2016 22-ounce bottle. Typical good floral IPA aroma. Not as bitter as some I have tried.

BeerRenter76 (1097) - Texas, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Originally rated on 8/19/08. Thunderhead poured a medium yellow body, its mid level carbonation gave it a small white head. Mouthfeel was adequate, Aroma was very faint, a slight hop presence with no dominate floral or pine attributes. Taste was about the same as the aroma. Overall its o.k., however i wont purchase it again since there are so many other IPA’s yet to try.
